Parents are an important part of GVS, as partners in their children’s education as well as contributors to our school community. During drop-off and pick up, many stay to catch up with fellow parents, and occasionally liaise with the teachers. We are proud of our strong relationships with our parents who help GVS maintain its sense of community and family feel.
Our Parents Association (PA) supports the school, as well as parents who are new to the country, helping them feel welcome and guided.
Our GVS Parents Association (PA) aims to support the school, raise funds and bring the community together through many activities. The PA organises social functions and fundraising events.
Committee meetings are held on a monthly basis which all parents and friends are invited to be involved in. We value every members’ ideas and suggestions which have helped make the school what it is today.
Class representatives meet with the Head of Primary to discuss upcoming events, and ensure other parents are kept updated and informed throughout the school year.
