The primary year programme (PYP) is the official curriculum framework and teaching methodology is of the Central Board of Secondary Education. The curriculum framework consists of five essential elements: concepts, knowledge, skills, attitudes and action. It is a trans-disciplinary programme of education designed to foster the development of the child. It emphasizes learning through active inquiry and aims to develop the all round child to meet certain competencies and attitudes outlined in a learner profile.
